9th Isaiah Chapter 43 Chapter 46 He Calls You by Name

Memory Verses: But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.  Isaiah 43:1 | Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. Isaiah 43:10 | 18 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. 19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. Isaiah 43:18-19 | 2 Thus saith the LORD that made thee, and formed thee from the womb, which will help thee; Fear not, O Jacob, my servant; and thou, Jesurun, whom I have chosen.  3 For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring: Isaiah 44:2-3 | Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any. Isaiah 44:8 | I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron: Isaiah 45:2 | In the LORD shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory. Isaiah 45:25

The Message

Vision from God is not illness. It is illumination.

We are living in a day when the very presence of God walks among us in the person of the Holy Spirit, though some of us are behaving as if there is no open vision (I Samuel 3:1). The Word is still precious; but since the veil of the temple was rent (Mark 15:38), there is no more necessity of unapproachable abyss between the Spirit of God and the soul of mankind; only that it exists for some because we allow it to by lack of submission.

Some have been bamboozled by the enemy, who has stolen our confidence by means of false prophets and people on a money hunt, claiming to have a Word from the Lord. But through it all, the Lord of all has not changed. Stop doubting God. He is not the one who lied to you.

Wickedness is what clouds the Lord’s vision from the eyes of men (and women). We have been hurt by people, not by God, so we now refuse to believe every mouth that speaks the name of Jesus. Instead we look for a sign and a wonder from heaven.

Yes, though some doubt: the Spirit of God is still indwelling people who believe today. The Lord Himself is still making appearances in the world today – though you still want “proof that it is Him.” Yes, the Lord is still calling people by name, waking them from their slumber as He did in the days of Samuel. Before you mock the child, consider your limited vision. You do not know whether he (or she) has ministered unto the Lord. And they that speak to Him in word and deed of service will be spoken to (I Samuel 3).

I remember watching the trees, and road, and trees and road again, swing past my vision as my vehicle traveling seventy miles an hour, spun down the Interstate, then went backward into a tree off the side of the highway; and I saw an angel.

A woman told me once that my vision was because I have PTSD. Man gave me disorder. God gave me vision – it was there before man.

IT IS WRITTEN

In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, – Ephesians 1:11 NIV

Have we not read? Have we not heard that we must try the spirit by the Spirit (I John 4:1) – not by the board of directors, not by the Chief of Staff, by the SPIRIT OF GOD. And if we don’t know Him, how do we purport to deny His presence? If you can’t tell the difference between darkness and light, that does not mean they are the same.

We have grown in a day of fear. The world has told us for centuries that they who speak to God are mad (crazy). So that even if Jean D’Arc (Joan of Arc) has the moxie to fight the revolution (because she got courage from God), the world wants to crucify her like they did Jesus. Yet when the famine and pestilence arise, they want to find somebody who can “get a prayer through.” The Lord is angry with a backbiting generation, who has killed the messenger whilst they pray for deliverance.

The vision is open today. If your eyes are wide shut, you will still not see it. Your blindness does not make anointing a lie.

IT IS WRITTEN (Acts 2:13-21)

13 Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine. 14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words: 15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day. 16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; 17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: 18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: 19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke: 20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come: 21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

ISAIAH 45:1-4

1 Thus saith the LORD to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut; 2 I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron: 3 And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel. 4 For Jacob my servant’s sake, and Israel mine elect, I have even called thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me.
