Begin Now

13 I do not consider, brethren, that I have captured and made it my own [yet]; but one thing I do [it is my one aspiration]: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the [supreme and heavenly] prize to which God in Christ Jesus is calling us upward. Philippians 3:13-14 AMP

A goal of seeking your purpose is to understand that your purpose comes from God. Thus, when the Word says, “Seek you first the kingdom of heaven and His righteousness, and all things shall be added unto you,” this applies to your purpose also. Look more closely at this scripture basis. If all things needed will be added when you seek the kingdom of heaven first, it means that the answer you seek will be added when you first seek God. Thus, you begin your search for your purpose by seeking God first.

You may not be sleeping well, wondering about your purpose. You may be hearing your name called, waking you from sleep like Samuel [] (I Samuel 3:8). If you cannot find anyone to give you peace, you know you need to seek God. God is willing to satisfy the soul that hungers for Him. God knows what you have need of before you ask Him. This does not only apply to food and shelter. God understands that you need to know your purpose; and what you need to do to fulfill it. Ultimately, your purpose is some form of being fruitful [] (John 15:16). Before you were born, God knew you and ordained your purpose [] . He knew what you would look like, how you would behave, what your likes and dislikes would be, even how many hairs would be on your head [] (Matthew 10:30).
.
God already knows before you take any action, whether you will accept or reject His will for your life. He knows what choices you will make in life and how those choices will shape your life experiences. Since God knows you so well, it is only good that you get to know Him and what He says about you. God prepared the way that in case you choose to accept your mission, you will have everything you need.

Your predestination affects every aspect of your life, whether or not you are aware of it. Until and unless you know your God-given purpose, it is easy to get distracted from the thoughts and actions that will be fruitful – a necessity of discipleship. God calls you to His purpose not so that you can live in word only. He desires for you be a profitable servant. When you know your God-given purpose, it’s time to go to work.

Do not assume that because a person has wealth or status, or even a glad countenance, that he or she knows what their God-given purpose is. Some people have not asked the question and are not aware that they need to ask; and some people do not want to know – because knowing inherits responsibility. Thus, some people are avoiding the question. And some who ask the question are seeking the answer from the wrong place. Whether or not a person wants to know His or her purpose, a person will have the opportunity at some point to either accept or reject it.

Your choices can open and close doors in your life. Yet, God is merciful. If you close a door that should be open, or open a door that should be closed, God’s ear is inclined to your repentance. He is also able to close doors that no man can open, and to open doors that no man can close [].

You Are Beautiful

In the beginning of creation, God made the heavens and the earth. When He formed man, He created Adam. Adam was made to praise God. Man is God’s glory. God created the woman because He said it was not good for man to alone – all one – a total being within itself, without need of external relation. Adam carried within himself, everything that man and woman together define. However, Adam was lonely. Adam stated that in all of the things that were created, which God allowed him to name, there was no suitable help meet found for Adam. Adam had no special connection or solution for companionship within all the other beings that were made before Eve.

God caused a deep sleep to come over Adam. While Adam slept, God took a rib from Adam’s side and proceeded to form flesh around it. Before God breathed life into Eve, He had placed within her a part of man that would connect her to him in an important way. When Adam met Eve for the first time, he instinctively recognized the distinction of Eve from all of the other beings that had been created outside of him. Adam called Eve, woman. She was bone of his bone and flesh of his flesh. God made woman as man’s glory.

As a woman of God, you are fearfully and wonderfully made []. Every part of your body, mind, soul, and spirit have been created with intricacy and attention to each minute detail. The very hairs of your head are all numbered []. God knows not only how many there are, but each one is identified by Him individually and succinctly. Your walk is His creation. Your curves and mannerisms were a part of His plan. You are beautiful because His spirit lives within you. You carry the emotional delicacies of His own Holy Spirit. You have the capacity to feel deeply as He does. You have the energy of creation flowing through you. You are a partner with Him in evolution. Life flows through you. When God chooses a blessing for birth, woman is the vessel through which He births new life.
You are a daughter of the Most High God and King. You are a princess in His royal court. He crowns you with glory from on high. He values you above things of this earth. When you pursue your purpose, you accept your rightful place in His kingdom. God desires your praise and takes pride in presenting you to mankind as an extension of His love and care.

God values you as a woman. He also places importance on the many roles that you have. God also has a place for you to serve His people. Did you know that the first evangelist was a woman? God has a plan for you and wants to promote you in His kingdom when you submit to His will. Become all that He wants you to be. Begin now.
