MEMORY VERSES

15 My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. 16 Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them. Psalm 139:15-16 KJV

Reflection

In today’s reading in 30 Days of Unlimited Grace: Daily Prayer Devotional by Unlimited Grace Ministries, Bryan Chapell writes,

No matter what’s happening in our lives right now, we can be assured that our Heavenly Father is intimately involved in the details. And nowhere do I see this more clearly than in Daniel 11. In one of the most detailed and dramatic prophetic visions revealed in the Bible, we see the beautiful assurance that God knows the big picture. He knows
all that is to come, and he cares and is concerned at all times and in all circumstances! Scripture is specific: Our gracious God knows the beginning from the end. There are no mistakes. No surprises. The Psalmist writes, “All the
days ordained for me, you knew before one of them came to be.” When you don’t know what the future holds, God says: I know, and I’ve got this.

Facing the unknown can be a source of fear when you do not have trust in the ONE who holds tomorrow. For everything that can could go wrong, it is easy to default to Murphy’s law that everything will go wrong. God did not create you to walk through this world alone. He designed relationships to model His design of love in HIS kingdom. He loved you so much that HE spared not even HIS only begotten son for your sake. Wondering about your place in the world does not make you insignificant. God simply desires that you ask HIM what your purpose is. Seek HIM for your direction; for where to go and what to do. Even if you sometimes have to do what is unpopular or unexpected, if you let the Holy Spirit guide you, you will not go wrong. Trust in the LORD with all your heart and HE will direct your path (Proverbs 3:5-6).

2 Timothy 1:7

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
